Ryan N. Terry
Lockheed Martin Corporation
Ryan Terry serves as the Director of Regulatory Strategy, Licensing and Policy for Lockheed Martin Corporation. In this role, he is responsible for day-to-day management of technical regulatory licensing matters for Lockheed Martin Corporation, with an emphasis on caseload management in spectrum and aviation. Ryan plays a pivotal role in the development, coordination, and implementation of technical regulatory strategies, including supporting and advising internal customers on regulatory processes and requirements and communicating directly with FCC, FAA, and other U.S. Government stakeholders to successfully obtain spectrum and aviation authorizations. He is a key member of AFTRCC’s regulatory committee.
Jonathan Westerling
Joby Aviation
Jonathan Westerling is Staff Program Manager for Radio Systems at Joby Aviation, Inc., a transportation company which manufactures and tests all-electric, vertical take-off and landing air taxis. His responsibilities include overseeing the development and operation of radio systems essential for the control, telemetry, and voice communications needed to support safe civil and military flight testing. Jonathan also serves as Joby’s Worldwide Spectrum Manager where he interfaces with numerous governments around the world to secure operational wireless spectrum allocations supporting worldwide flight testing and demonstration of experimental aircraft. Prior to Joby, Jonathan was Special Programs Manager for Google’s Spectrum Services division where he represented their flagship CBRS initiative amongst other products.
Nathan Miller
The Boeing Company
Nathan Miller brings deep expertise in spectrum management, regulatory compliance, and national-level coordination. Nate served 8.5 years in the United States Navy as a Cryptologic Technician (Collection), specializing in Signals Intelligence and Electronic Attack. Nate is a Spectrum Manager for The Boeing Company in Seattle, Washington. In this role, he conducts detailed technical research and analysis of frequency authorization requests, evaluates spectrum assets, and interprets applicable federal regulations to ensure availability and full regulatory compliance.
