The Recognized Authority for Flight Test Frequency Coordination

The Aerospace and Flight Test Radio Coordinating Council, Inc, “AFTRCC,” founded in 1954, is a not-for-profit 501(c)(6) organization of Radio Frequency Management Representatives from major aerospace companies.

Our Services

AFTRCC provides structured coordination, published policies, and industry engagement to support aerospace testing programs.

Frequency Coordination

AFTRCC coordinates aeronautical telemetry and voice frequency assignments in support of flight test operations. Coordination supports aircraft, missile, and aerospace testing programs and helps manage shared spectrum use across designated bands.

Spectrum Policy & Engagement

AFTRCC reviews proposed spectrum rulemakings and participates in discussions affecting flight test radio communications. Through structured meetings and coordination activities, member representatives engage with federal spectrum authorities on matters of shared professional interest.
